💙 what an amazing achievement, £6,054.43 raised💙 Tomorrow 10th October is World Mental Health Day, I wanted to share with you an update from our fundraising weekend in August and the future of Mind Aid. In total the amount raised was £6,054.43 of which is amazing and we would not have been able to have done this with out your support THANKYOU , the funds raised have been split between Thurrock and Brentwood Mind and Basildon Mind and the total will rise further in the coming months as gift aid is claimed. I Wanted to take this opportunity of thanking all of you that made this happen, those that took part in the sponsored walk, those that donated their time and performed at our music event, those that helped behind the scenes making it possible, those that donated raffle prizes, and of course everyone who sponsored us, made donations, those that attended the event, all that took part in the awareness videos, and finally Sam and Biff Foster at the Ship in Little Thurrock for all your support and for letting us host our first music event their. Community at its best x I am pleased to share with you that the Mind Aid fundraising weekend will return in 2026 with a sponsored activity and music event at The ship in Little Thurrock, Any one wishing ro take part please get in contact. Further to this we have decided to set up MIND AID as a group in its own right to help support in the fight for those struggling with their mental Health. To help support local Mental Health Charities such as Mind as well as setting up our own little projects/ initiatives. I have lots of ideas of which some of you will be aware of through recent conversations and wanted to thank those that I have met or chatted with however ambitious and heard me out, this is very much appreciated and these ideas will happen one way or another. Sam and Biff Foster have very kindly donated £500 to Mind Aid, THANKYOU SO MUCH to help help us set up our group and to be able to continue on and support those struggling with their Mental health as well as supporting local Mental Health charities such as mind. I would like to say to anyone struggling with their Mental Health, YOU ARE ENOUGH, YOUR MENTAl HEALTH MATTERS, DONT STRUGGLE IN SILENCE, YOU ARE NOT ALONE, Reach out for support., Please see see support line numbers.
